How the FE Civil practice quiz works
The quiz serves multiple-choice questions in the style of the NCEES FE Civil exam. Pick a topic such as statics, mechanics of materials or fluid mechanics, or choose All to mix topics, answer each question, and open the worked solution to see which formula applies and how the numbers are substituted. Questions are short and calculation-based, so you can fit a few in between other study.
Tips for getting the most from practice problems
- Attempt every question before opening the solution, even if you are unsure.
- Write down the governing equation first, then check units on every substitution.
- Note the topics where you miss questions and revisit them in the FE Civil study portal.
- Use the worked examples and the FE Tutor to review any concept that keeps tripping you up.
- Practice with the NCEES FE Reference Handbook open, since that is what you will have on exam day.
