The resultant W = 8 · 3 = 24 kN acts at the centroid of the load, 1.5 m from the wall: M = 24 · 1.5 = 36 kN·m, i.e. M = w L2 / 2. 18 kN·m is w L2 / 4, which isn't a standard case; 24 kN·m is the total load, not a moment.
